Reckitt Benckiser – Pharmaceutical Company Intranet
UX – Wireframes, Prototype
Presented to Client
About the Project
Reckitt Benckiser is a multinational consumer goods and pharmaceuticals company. With over 35,000 employees, their intranet is a vital tool, used to make announcements and provide information and tools.
PixelGroup was contracted to design an overhaul of the intranet, known as “Buzz”.
The site had to provide easy access to tools, as well as highlighting news from around the business. It also needed to be mobile responsive.
I was contracted by PixelGroup to work on the UX for the project. I was given a content matrix and some guidance and ideas, with which I created wireframes and a prototype in HTML.
I created a partially functional HTML prototype. It is responsive and shows an example of every type of page template needed.
Here are some screenshots from the prototype.
To present the work to the client, I created a document in Adobe Illustrator where I annotated screenshots of the prototype to explain how various features would work in the final design.
The presentation PDF helped the client understand the wireframes and also was useful for the design and development teams to work from. I travelled to the client site to present work to them in person.
As stages of the prototype were signed off, the work was handed on to design and development teams. I was able to discuss the project with both of these in their own language.
