Pitch to Rich

This competition is an opportunity to pitch a business idea to Richard Branson. Small businesses, start ups and entrepreneurs compete for the chance to win a total of £1,000,000 in prizes.

My Work

The competition was underway and the site live when I came on board to work on the later stages, delivering schematics, information architecture and scamps.

Competition Schematic

Pitch to Rich is a large competition, with a number of stages. At some stages there is a public vote, while others involve judges decisions. I pulled all this into one document, which became a reference throughout my work.

Information Architecture

The site changes throughout the stages of the competition, so I decided to create a clear document of what content needs to be on each page, at each stage. As I worked on the scamps, this document was invaluable in keeping track of what needed to be done. I made notes, and highlighted areas that needed attention from myself or the copywriter.

Scamps

I laid out the pages of the site for each stage of the competition as scamps. Some parts required detailed attention and thinking, such as leaderboards, or award badges for the pitches that reached the shortlist, finals, or became winners.
