Mobile journey optimisation

Wireframes, user flows, scrum master

Client: Royal Bank of Scotland

The project

RBS was mobile optimising customer acquisition journeys for Natwest credit card products.

My involvement

I was brought on board for 3 months to define UX for mobile customer acquisition journeys. I also acted as scrum master for a team of four developers.

Iā€™m not able to share visual artefacts from this project but this page contains more information about my involvement.

Mobile optimisation

The customer acquisition journeys were already defined for desktop web and I created wireframes to lay out how the pages should be optimised for mobile web. There were many technical limitations due to the way the pages had been set up and I had to work closely with the developers to navigate these limitations.

Scrum Master

The international dev team was working well together but Agile methodologies had not been implemented in the past, leading to a lack of organisation and an inability to make estimates on timescales.

I recognised an opportunity to implement Agile in the time and took on the role of scrum master. I ran workshops to get the team going with sprint planning and retrospectives and taught them techniques like planning poker.
