Company Intranet

Information architecture, wireframes, HTML prototype

Client: Reckitt Benckiser
Agency: PixelGroup

The project

Reckitt Benckiser is a multinational pharmaceutical company. With over 35,000 employees, their intranet is a vital tool – used to make announcements and provide information and tools.

My involvement

I was brought onboard to define the UX for an overhaul of Reckitt Benckiser’s intranet. I was given a content matrix and some guidance and ideas, with which I created wireframes and an interactive prototype in HTML.

Prototype

I created a functional, fully responsive prototype using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Presentation and handover

Some stakeholders at the client company were not used to seeing wireframes, so I created a document in a style they were more used to, with explanatory annotations. This also served as a reference for the design and development teams to work from.
